Our Story
Why we built Claract.
Residential property teams send hundreds of notices a month — fee notices, renewal letters, violation notices, lease non-renewals. Most are produced from templates written years ago, drawn from fee schedules that have changed since, and sent into jurisdictions whose rules have moved while the template sat in a folder. There is no review layer. A wrong fee amount, a missing cure window, or an out-of-date disclosure goes out with the rest of the day's mail.
Property management software stores residents, leases, and ledgers, and sends what the operator drafts. It does not read the lease against the notice. It does not compare the fee in the notice to the fee schedule on file. It does not check the notice period against the jurisdiction's current statute. The tools that exist solve storage and delivery — the review work still sits in someone's inbox.
Claract is the review layer between drafting and sending. Each notice is checked against the property's lease, the current fee schedule, and the jurisdiction library, and returned as a Compliance Packet with Block, Review, Note, and Clear findings. The packet is the audit trail. The team that sends notices every day gets a structured second pair of eyes — not a consultant, not a lawyer, but a consistent review step that fits into the queue they already have.
Claract is an early-stage product. We work closely with our initial pilot teams.
